Today we are at the London Stationery Show, a two-day stationery fest at the stylish Business Design Centre in Islington.
This is the sixth year the show has been running and exhibition director Chris Leonard Morgan says it is:
“THE place to review the latest writing and paper products, trends and suppliers.”
Which is exactly why we are attending – we hope to find lots of amazing new, imaginative and beautiful things to review on our new blog. The show is taking place during National Stationery Week. Chris told us:
“The show is a great place to celebrate the flair of suppliers and retailers who make stationery so tempting and fun. It makes you feel good, and is extremely useful so there is never any need to feel guilty after yet another purchase.”
At the show there are over 155 stands representing over 400 suppliers and brands with 1000’s of stationery products. We are going to be in heaven. We have been promised there will be exhibitors and brands, which we won’t find at other UK events – over two thirds are exclusive to the London Stationery Show. It brings everyone together at one fantastic, exciting event. The show has nearly trebled in size and the number of visitors since its launch in 2011.
We asked Chris what his plans for the future are for the London Stationery show. He told us:
“We would like the London Stationery Show to continue showcasing new trends in writing and paper products, but also to inspire exhibitors and visitors to champion and support the #writingmatters message (which is pretty key to future stationery sales).”
So keep checking back with our blog as we hope to be updating you all soon on the things we see and find. Meanwhile, today is the second day of National Stationery Week and has been designated as Get Organised Day, so here is an assortment of list pads and books from Paperchase.
Don’t forget, to leave us a comment about today’s post and if any stationery suppliers would like us to review any of their products please get in touch via our Contact page.
